09 Jun Fiesta Bowl
The goal of the Fiesta Bowl committee was to drive engagement in the run up to the game that was played in Phoenix Arizona on December 27th. The quiz was meant to test the knowledge of former Alum from both college and the die-hard College Football Fans across the country. For those who could prove their knowledge the ultimate prize was 2 tickets to attend the game in person. The sponsors wanted to sell merchandise related to the teams and their products.
Our team working with the Fiesta Bowl welcoming committee built a 10 Question Quiz with content related to past and present players and teams. These Q&A’s were set up to really test the knowledge of the super fan, and made it quite difficult for people to game the system using our timed-question approach. The quizzes were branded with PlayStation(c) and the other sponsors being displayed at all points within the quiz itself. The quiz was promoted on Social and Online in Display Ad’s.
The results were fantastic, with a high level of engagement, high take up rate and a spectacular 95% completion rate.
Click thru’s to the CTA to purchase merchandise saw a surge in online purchases prior to and after the event.
On top of these results a database of players was generated for follow up since all the players fully opt-in when they add themselves to the leaderboard.
